Your Thoughts, Please

Give us your opinions, members of TBAY! We want to hear from you!

As you may remember, we implemented a survey after the High Holy Days to get our members’ feedback about the services, the environment, the family options, etc. Thank you to everyone who answered the survey. As Co-Presidents, one of our primary goals is to listen to our members and implement new ideas that will foster the growth of TBAY for today and for our future generations. The High Holy Day survey is one way in which we have provided a forum for you to give us your opinions. Sixty people responded to the survey. While this is not a
statistically robust sample size, we certainly received a lot of helpful feedback about the three main High Holy Days. Together with Rabbis Mallach and Beyer and our Religious Affairs Committee, we are discussing the feedback and determining what can be incorporated or changed in our High Holy Day services. Another effort we’re putting in place to give our members a voice is Focus Groups. We are recruiting people across our community, representing our Early Childhood Program, our Shorashim program, families with kids post-religious school and empty nesters to participate in a 1-1/2 to 2-hour discussion about TBAY. Areas such as engagement, liturgy, programming, education, membership, etc. will be discussed.

If you are interested in participating please contact either one of us. As always, we are available for one-on-one conversations. If you have an idea about an event, like to volunteer, but don’t know the best way to get involved, please contact us. Or perhaps you would like to donate to an event or building maintenance.  Contact one of us! And if there’s anything else you’d like to discuss about our TBAY community, please always feel free to reach out to either one of us.

Wishing you a wonderful spring!
