We had a wonderful Shabbat celebrating our many Minyanaires. Each and every day of the year, Temple Beth Ahm Yisrael offers an opportunity to congregants and community members to pray in a minyan. On Minyanaire Shabbat, we honor all those who form the backbone of our daily minyan and Shabbat services. Many, many thanks to these people who make it possible for us to have a vibrant community.
We are so grateful for their service and caring throughout the year!!
Our Minyanaires led both services. Leading sections of our Kabbalat Shabbat Service on Friday night were Eilu D’Varim: Linda Bloom, Martha & Bernie Flashberg, Howard and Paula Gerber, Gene Gorrin, Paul Peyser and Jackie Schuyler. The D’Var Torah was led by Rabbi Simon Rosenbach. On Saturday, sections of the service were led by Larry Horwitz (Preliminary Service), Dave Green (Shacharit) and David Glass (Musaf). Our Ba’alei Koreh (Torah Readers) were Ken Melman, Rabbi Simon Rosenbach, Ben Rosenbach and Rabbi Rubin. Our Ba’al Maftir (Haftarah Reader) was David Brooks and our Gabbai was Nate Rajs. Other prayers were led by Neil Mlawski, Paul Peyser, Nate Rajs, Gayle Rosenbach and Gerry Weiss. Steve Taub delivered the D’Var Torah.
