On Shabbat morning, we discussed the tail end of Joseph’s revelation of his identity, when he kissed his brothers and wept, after which they were able to talk to him. We talked about why he is crying now, when he cried before and whether this is Joseph’s moment of forgiveness. We also discussed the brothers. Why did they not speak until now? Was it this weeping that caused them to trust Joseph? Did they trust him? You can find the Source Sheet here.
