Shabbat Shalom!

Torah Question of the Week: Have you ever needed prompting to take the lead in something you were doing? In this week’s Torah portion, Moses tells Aaron to come forward to enact the final rituals in his consecration as the Kohein Gadol – the High Priest. Rashi tells us Aaron was reluctant and fearful to approach the altar and that is why Moses had to tell him to come forward. Are you ever reluctant to take on a new role? When do you need the help and encouragement of another person?
This weekend we celebrate the Bat Mitzvah of Julia Brendell as she helps lead our services and is called to the Torah for the first time. Tonight’s Kabbalat Shabbat service is at 8:00 p.m. and tomorrow’s Shabbat Morning service begins at 9:30 a.m. Both services are multi-access: in person and on Zoom. To register to come in person, please go to https://tinyurl.com/TBAY-Shabbat. The Zoom links can be found in the Shabbat Preview.
